Entwicklung und Test von Methoden zur Auswertung von empirischen Datensätzen in der Ökologie und Evolutionsbiologie

Standardverfahren zur Auswertung ökologischer und genetischer Daten sind oft sehr statisch und basieren auf sehr stark abstrahierten Modellen. Bei der Auswertung von empirischen Daten zu ökologischen und evolutiven Prozessen ist es daher oft sinnvoller eigene realitätsnähere Nullmodelle oder Nicht-Standard-Erklärungsmodelle zu verwenden. Unsere hierfür entwickelten Auswerteverfahren basieren auf mathematischer Modellierung oder sind Simulationsmodelle.
